Mirabito Natural Gas Seeks Retail Supplier License in New State

Mirabito Natural Gas, LLC applied for a Pennsylvania natural gas supplier license to serve all customer classes at UGI, UGI Penn Natural Gas, UGI Central Penn Gas, and Valley Energy.

As previously reported, Mirabito Natural Gas launched last year in New York, and has opened supply pools in the New York State Electric & Gas TCO and DTI territories and in the Niagara Mohawk territory.

The owners of Mirabito Natural Gas, LLC also own Mirabito Holdings, Inc., which is a wholesale and retail supplier and marketer of oil, propane and other energy supplies in the Northeastern U.S., including Pennsylvania.

Among other things, Mirabito Holdings, Inc.'s specific activities include the operation a convenience store chain with 55+ locations (under the Mirabito, Quickway, and Convenience Express brands) and a home heating fuel delivery business, which also offers various service and contracting plans and equipment.

Mirabito Holdings, Inc. owns approximately 9% of the outstanding shares of Corning Natural Gas Corp.

Mirabito Natural Gas, LLC also has a sister affiliate, Mirabito Regulated Industries, LLC, that owns fifty percent of Leatherstocking Gas Company, LLC and Leatherstocking Pipeline Company, LLC.

In Pennsylvania, Leatherstocking Gas Company, LLC is a start-up local distribution company that is not yet operational.

Leatherstocking Pipeline Company, LLC is a start-up unregulated natural gas delivery company intended to serve one customer that is also not yet operational.
