Energy.ME Seeks Supplier License in New State
Smart Energy, LLC d/b/a Energy.ME applied for an Ohio electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. Smart Energy, LLC currently serves approximately 20 MW of coincident peak summer retail load to approximately 300 commercial customers in the Commonwealth Edison and Ameren service territories.
Hiko Energy Receives License in New State
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Hiko Energy LLC an electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. In its final order, the Commission approved without modification a series of tentatively proposed reporting conditions for Hiko Energy as a condition of licensure (see prior story for specific conditions)
5 Seeks License in New State
L5E, LLC, d/b/a 5, has applied for a Maryland electric broker license. A copy of the application was not immediately available to determine whether L5E, LLC is seeking licensure as an aggregator as well. As previously reported, L5E, LLC is comprised of several officers all formerly in senior positions at various retail suppliers, including First Choice Power, Juice Energy, and/or Constellation NewEnergy (see prior story).
Secure Energy Solutions Seeks New License
Secure Energy Solutions, LLC applied for a District of Columbia electric broker/aggregator license to serve all customer classes.
