Snyder Brothers Energy Marketing Seeks License in New State

Snyder Brothers Energy Marketing, LLC applied for an Ohio natural gas supplier license as a marketer, aggregator, and broker to serve all customer classes at Columbia Gas of Ohio and Dominion East Ohio. Affiliate Snyder Brothers, Inc. is an independent producer of natural gas in Pennsylvania and is an active retail marketer in the state. Snyder Brothers Energy Marketing said that it is "eager to expand to the retail natural gas business."

Crown Energy Services Seeks Expanded Supplier License

Crown Energy Services Inc. has sought an amendment to its Pennsylvania natural gas supplier license to include service in all service territories. Its current license allows it to serve customers at National Fuel Gas Distribution.

Intelligen Resources Seeks Market-Based Rate Authority

Intelligen Resources LP, whose services include retail brokering and consulting in addition to intelligent load management, has applied for market-based rate authority at FERC. Intelligen Resources LP proposes to act as a power marketer, purchasing electricity and reselling it to wholesale customers. Intelligen Resources LP may also engage in other, nonjurisdictional, activities to facilitate efficient trade in the bulk power market, such as facilitating the purchase and sale of wholesale energy without taking title to the electricity (brokering), and arranging services in related areas such as transmission and fuel supplies.

Capital Energy Inc. Receives New License

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Capital Energy Inc. an electric broker/aggregator license to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas.
