Panda Starts Construction on Texas Generation; Aims for 2014 Commercial Operations

Panda Power Funds today announced that its affiliate Panda Temple Power, LLC has successfully completed the financing on its planned 758-megawatt natural gas-fueled, combined-cycle power plant in Temple, Texas.
The company will immediately start construction on the 250-acre site and expects commercial operations to begin by the end of 2014
Equity financing for the project is being provided by Panda Power Funds and other financial institutions
