Xoom Energy Receives Licenses in New State

The Pennsylvania PUC granted Xoom Energy Pennsylvania, LLC licenses as an electric supplier and natural gas supplier to serve, for electricity, residential, small commercial (25 kW and under demand), large commercial (over 25 kW demand), and industrial customers at Duquesne Light Company, Metropolitan Edison Company, Pennsylvania Electric Company, and PPL Electric Utilities, Inc., and for natural gas, residential, small commercial (under 6,000 MCF annually), large commercial (6,000 MCF or more annually), and industrial customers at National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation, Peoples Natural Gas Corporation, Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania, Inc., PECO, UGI and UGI Central Penn Gas. Commercial Utility Consultants, Inc. applied for an Ohio electric broker license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. Commercial Utility Consultants also said that it has a pending broker license application in New Jersey.
