Shamrock Energy Receives New Supplier License

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted DE of Ohio, LLC, d/b/a Shamrock Energy, a natural gas supplier license to serve all customer classes at Columbia Gas and Dominion East Ohio. As previously reported, DE of Ohio, LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delta Energy, LLC

Start-up Dead River Company Receives Supplier License

The Maine PUC granted start-up DR Power, LLC d/b/a Dead River Company an electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in the service territories of Central Maine Power Company, Bangor Hydro-Electric Company and Maine Public Service Company. Among other things, DR Power has stated that it would provide off-peak power supply for Electric Thermal Storage Systems. The PUC granted DR Power a reduction in the security requirement from $100,000 to $15,000, given DR Power's start-up nature and averment that first year gross revenues are expected to be below $200,000, and that DR Power will not require deposits or prepayments. DR Power will be required to file confidential quarterly reports on sales to allow the PUC to adjust the security requirement if deemed necessary

Affordable Gas and Electric, LLC Seeks New License

Start-up Affordable Gas and Electric Company, LLC applied for an Illinois electric agent, broker, and consultant license. Jeffrey Haarmann, Managing Partner of Affordable Gas & Electric Company, LLC, was formerly Vice President of NFuse Direct, an outsourced direct sales company that held contracts with multiple retail suppliers.

Trebel, LLC Receives License in New State

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Trebel, LLC an electric broker/aggregator license to serve residential, commercial, and mercantile customers in all service areas.
