TriEagle Energy Signs New Credit, Supply Agreement
TriEagle Energy, LP announced today the signing of a definitive long-term credit and supply agreement with Pacific Summit Energy LLC, a subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation, for TriEagle's current and future energy markets. "We are very excited to have the opportunity to work with an industry leader such as PSE and expect this relationship to provide tremendous opportunities and stability for TriEagle into the future," said Daniel Cook, TriEagle CEO. He added, "Our new agreement is the logical next step in our company's strategic plan to provide the best possible value and service to our customers." TriEagle currently serves industrial, commercial, and residential customers in Texas and Pennsylvania.
SCANA Energy Reports Customer Churn
Retail marketer SCANA Energy reported a seasonal loss of $3 million in the second quarter of 2012, consistent with the results from the second quarter of 2011. At June 30, 2012, SCANA Energy was serving approximately 450,000 customers, compared with 460,000 as of March 31, 2012 and also a year ago.
