FirstEnergy Solutions Reports Low Attrition at Affiliated Ohio EDCs

FirstEnergy Solutions is "doing very well" with attrition and retaining customers "that we've traditionally held," FirstEnergy Solutions President Donald Schneider said during an earnings call yesterday.

"[I]n our residential space, when you look across our EDCs, we're 3-4% year-to-date attrition. [At] FE Ohio, that's more like 1%. So we're doing very well at being able to retain those customers," Schneider said.

"In other EDCs ... our close to home EDCs, where we go after customers, we're doing quite well across the board in being able to secure market share that we'd anticipated," Schneider said.
