Two Pennsylvania EDCs See Weekly Residential Migration Growth of 3,000 Accounts

Two Pennsylvania electric distribution companies saw net growth of 3,000 residential customers on competitive supply in the most recent week, according to the latest data from the Pennsylvania PUC.

From August 1 to August 7, PECO saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 3,000 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 2,100 accounts.

From August 2 to August 8, West Penn Power saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 3,000 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 2,400 accounts.

From August 2 to August 8, Penelec saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 700 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 1,800 accounts.

From August 2 to August 8, Met-Ed saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 300 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 200 accounts.

From August 2 to August 8, Penn Power saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by 3 accounts, versus the week-ago loss of 16 accounts.

From July 29 to August 4, Duquesne Light saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 600 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 1,000 accounts.

Updated data for PPL was not included in the August 8 migration stats.
