Glacial Energy Offering Residential Service in New State

Glacial Energy has begun offering residential electric service in Ohio.
Specifically, on the PUCO Apples to Apples chart, Glacial Energy has listed an offer for residential service at the FirstEnergy electric distribution companies.
Glacial Energy's residential offer at the FirstEnergy Ohio EDCs is a 12-month fixed price of 5.99¢ per kWh. The offer is the same at Cleveland Electric Illuminating, Toledo Edison, and Ohio Edison.
An early termination fee of $50 applies.
Glacial Energy's offer is only the second offer listed on PUCO Apples to Apples for residential service at the FirstEnergy Ohio EDCs from a retail supplier not affiliated with an Ohio electric distribution company, and only the sixth offer listed overall.
