PECO Sees Jump in Residential Migration to Competitive Gas Supply

The Pennsylvania PUC has posted its July report on migration to competitive natural gas supply.

As listed on the PUC's July report, some 30,637 residential gas customers at PECO were taking competitive supply in July, which represents growth of 3,156 migrated residential accounts versus June. The month-ago growth at PECO had been 855 residential accounts.

Other notable changes in the number of residential customers on competitive supply during July, versus the June total (per the PUC reports), was seen at the following distribution companies:

Columbia Gas: +278

Equitable Gas: (4)

Peoples Natural Gas: (255)

UGI Utilities - Gas: +488

UGI Central Penn Gas: +2

UGI Penn Natural Gas: +31

Updated data for National Fuel Gas Distribution did not appear to be included in the PUC July report.
