During July, ComEd saw the number of residential customers who had switched to a competitive supplier and had completed at least one billing cycle on competitive supply increase by nearly 100,000, according to data on the Plug-In Illinois site.

As previously noted, ICC migration statistics discussed below show customers who have switched to a competitive supplier and have completed at least one billing cycle on competitive supply. Accordingly, the data lags completed enrollments.

According to a report on Plug-In Illinois, 527,000 ComEd residential customers had completed at least one billing cycle on competitive supply as of July 31, 2012, compared with 437,000 as of June 30, 2012, and 406,000 as of May 31, 2012.

At the three Ameren rate zones, collectively, the number of residential customers who had switched to a competitive supplier and had completed at least one billing cycle on competitive supply increased by 126,000 from June 30, 2012 to July 31, 2012.

Residential customers at Ameren who have switched to a competitive supplier and have completed at least one billing cycle on competitive supply as of July 31, 2012 were as follows:

Rate Zone I, AmerenCIPS: 56,046

Rate Zone II, AmerenCILCO: 115,364

Rate Zone III, AmerenIP: 103,621

The net growth in residential accounts billed on competitive supply at Ameren during July, compared to the June totals, was as follows:

Rate Zone I, AmerenCIPS: +16,780

Rate Zone II, AmerenCILCO: +74,012

Rate Zone III, AmerenIP: +35,006

The rapid acceleration in the growth of customers billed on competitive supply reflects additional March-approved governmental aggregations commencing service and completing their first billing cycle on competitive supply.

Detailed migration statistics as of July 31, 2012, including non-residential migration and percent of customers billed on competitive supply, have not yet been posted by the ICC as of publication time.
