Just Energy Launches Smart Thermostat Offering

Just Energy has officially launched its smart thermostat product under the brand Just Eco Savings.
Just Eco Savings' Smart Home Program, launched in Canada, includes a smart thermostat powered by ecobee. Under the program, Just Eco Savings installs the new thermostat in homes at no upfront cost.
The smart thermostat uses an advanced algorithm to create savings. Connecting to a home's wi-fi connection, the thermostat takes into account weather, size of home, number of occupants, and HVAC system operating hours to monitor and adjust usage.
The customer may also program the thermostat to their personalized comfort settings.
The thermostat may also be adjusted using a smart phone.
By following a "smart home" program provided by Just Eco Savings, the company said that the average homeowner will save approximately 20% on energy costs, "without any compromise on comfort."
Just Eco Savings said that, in addition, if a homeowner were not to save money on the Smart Home Program, the company will rebate the difference between the cost of the program and savings.
