PPL Sees Marginal But Steady Growth in Residential Customers on Competitive Supply

PPL saw another marginal increase in the number of residential electric customers on competitive supply during the most recent week, according to the August 29 data from the Pennsylvania PUC.

From August 19 to August 25, PPL saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by 457 accounts, which was steady with the week-ago growth of 463 accounts.
From August 22 to August 28, PECO saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by nearly 1,400 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 1,200 accounts.
From August 23 to August 29, West Penn Power saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 2,100 accounts, which was even with the week-ago growth.
From August 23 to August 29, Duquesne Light saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 1,400 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 1,600 accounts.
From August 23 to August 29, Penelec saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 1,400 accounts, which was even with the week-ago growth.
From August 23 to August 29, Met-Ed saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 640 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 740 accounts.
From August 23 to August 29, Penn Power saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by 136 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 53 accounts.
