West Penn Power Seeing Growth of 2,000 Residential Shoppers Each Week

West Penn Power continues to see net growth of about 2,000 in the number of residential customers on competitive supply each week, according to the September 5 data from the Pennsylvania PUC.

From August 30 to September 5, West Penn Power saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 1,900 accounts, about even with the week-ago growth of 2,100 accounts. West Penn Power has seen weekly residential migration growth of about 2,000 accounts per week over the past month.
From August 30 to September 5, Penelec saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 1,400 accounts, which was even with the week-ago growth.
From August 30 to September 5, Met-Ed saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 800 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 640 accounts.
From August 26 to September 1, Duquesne Light saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 950 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 1,400 accounts.
From August 29 to September 4, PECO saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 500 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 1,400 accounts.
From August 30 to September 5, Penn Power saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by 57 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 136 accounts.
Updated data for PPL was not included in the September 5 migration report.
