Verde Energy Listing Residential Offers in New Service Territories

Verde Energy USA has begun listing residential electric offers on the PUCO Apples to Apples chart for customers at AEP Ohio and the FirstEnergy utilities.

At AEP Ohio, Verde Energy is offering residential customers a fixed price of 6.59¢ per kWh through September 2013.

At Toledo Edison, Ohio Edison, and Cleveland Electric Illuminating, Verde Energy is offering residential customers a fixed price of 5.79¢ per kWh through December 2013.

Verde Energy is only the third supplier to list an offer on Apples to Apples for the FirstEnergy utility service areas that is not affiliated with an Ohio distribution company.

There is no early termination fee for any of the products.

New enrollments receive a $50 cash bonus, a 20% discount on energy saving products, and free access to Verde Energy Savings Solutions, where customers can monitor and analyze their energy use.

Commercial service is also available.

As only reported by Matters, Verde Energy previously began listing residential offers on Apples to Apples for customers at Duke Energy Ohio and Dayton Power & Light.
