New Hampshire PUC Approves New Default Service Rates at Granite State Electric

The New Hampshire PUC has approved new small customer and large customer default service rates at Granite State Electric Company (Liberty Utilities), for the period beginning November 1, 2012.

For residential and small commercial customers (Small Customer Group), the default service rate will be $0.07525 per kWh for the period November 1, 2012 through April 30, 2013.

For large and medium commercial and industrial customers (Large Customer Group), default service rates for the period November 1, 2012 through January 31, 2013 will be as follows ($/kWh):

Granite State selected NextEra Energy Power Marketing, LLC as the winning bidder to provide default service to the Large Customer Group for the period from November 1, 2012 through January 31, 2013, and Dominion Energy Marketing, Inc. as the winning bidder to provide default service to the Small Customer Group for the period from November 1, 2012 through April 30, 2013.
