The New Hampshire PUC has approved new small customer default service rates at Unitil, for the period beginning November 1, 2012.

For the residential and small commercial (Non-G1) customer group, the default service rate will be $0.07178 per kWh for the period November 1, 2012 through May 31, 2013.

H. Q. Energy Services (U.S.), Inc. was selected as the winning bidder for seven months of Non-G1 requirements (a 25% share for six months and a 75% share for one month).

Additionally, the PUC approved Constellation Energy Commodities Group, Inc. as the supplier for the 100% of large commercial and industrial (G1) customer power requirements for the seven-month period beginning November 1, 2012. Large customer default service rates will be the LMP plus an adder.
