The Illinois Commerce Commission has posted detailed migration statistics, by customer class, as of August 31, 2012.

Last week, Matters had reported excerpted residential migration data that had been posted by the ICC apart from the now-updated detailed reports.

See prior story for details on August residential migration in terms of accounts, including growth of accounts from July to August

As previously reported, ComEd saw the number of residential customers billed on competitive supply increase by nearly 186,000 during August, while Ameren saw growth of 25,000 residential shoppers (aggregate of all zones).

The newly updated stats also show the percent of residential accounts migrated as of August 31, 2012, which is as follows:

ComEd: 21.04%

Ameren Rate Zone I (CIPS): 18.18%

Ameren Rate Zone II, (CILCO): 62.18%

Ameren Rate Zone III, (IP): 22.83%

The ICC migration statistics list customers who have switched to a competitive supplier and have completed at least one billing cycle on competitive supply. Accordingly, the data lags completed enrollments

Migration to competitive supply in the ComEd <100 kW commercial class increased by 6,600 during August, up from growth of 3,700 accounts during July, and 2,300 accounts during June.
