Bounce Energy has begun offering electricity service in Pennsylvania.

Specifically, for residential and commercial customers, Bounce now offers electric supply at PECO, PPL, Duquesne Light, and West Penn Power.

Bounce's entry into Pennsylvania had been first reported by Matters.

Bounce told Matters that it expects to go live in additional Pennsylvania markets within 30-60 days.

Bounce also anticipates going live in the New York market by the first quarter of 2013.

For residential customers, current Bounce pricing in Pennsylvania is as follows:

                     PECO PPL Duquesne West Penn
Fixed-6 8.1 6.9 7.2 4.9
Fixed-12 7.4 7.7 7.3 5.3
Fixed-12 100% Green 8.1 8.4 8.0 6.0
Variable 8.5 7.8 7.8 5.2

All plans come with a customer's choice of rewards program from Bounce's extensive suite, which includes $25 and $50 gift cards every 6 and 12 months, respectively. Rewards plans include gift cards from various department stores, grocery stores, travel providers, sports leagues, electronics stores, and restaurants.

The two 12-month fixed plans each have an early termination fee of $100. The 6-month fixed plan does not have an early termination fee.

Bounce also expects to launch a 24-month fixed offer for residential customers in Pennsylvania in the future.

For the variable plans, there is a 10% cap per month on increases, and there are unlimited rate decreases.

Bounce Energy said that the company has seen a 250 percent increase in both customer base and revenue since 2010

"We believe that customers want and need better ways to interact with their electricity providers. By bringing best in class online features and enabling customers to work with us in any way they choose, Bounce is targeting an ignored segment of the consumer population throughout Pennsylvania and we're excited to do it," said Bounce Energy CEO Robbie Wright.

"Bounce Energy applies its creative approach to social media, aligning monthly with a non-profit organization and utilizing their large social media network to raise funds and awareness," the company said. Going into Pennsylvania, Bounce has partnered with The Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank and The Philadelphia Food Bank, Philabundance
