Independence Energy Launches Service in New State

Independence Energy Group LLC has begun offering electric service in Ohio.
Specifically, Independence Energy Group now lists on the PUCO Apples to Apples chart a residential electric offer at Duke Energy Ohio.
The Independence Energy offer for Duke RS residential customers listed on Apples to Apples is a variable rate currently priced at 5.6¢/kWh.
Independence Energy is to start a broader Ohio market launch on October 15.
Independence Energy also recently launched a new partnership with Fidelity Express under which Texas customers can pay their bill at one of 1,900 Fidelity Express locations in Texas.
