Michigan PSC Proposes Written Consent for Provision of AMI Data to Third Parties

The Michigan PSC has proposed a framework for customer privacy and data issues relating to advanced meters. Notably, the PSC proposes that its policy, "should ensure that customer usage data, personally identifiable information, and certain other customer information are only disclosed to third parties with the customer's written consent." Connecticut Light and Power Reports Standard Service Suppliers

Connecticut Light and Power disclosed that the following suppliers will serve a portion of Standard Service load for the first half of 2013: Constellation Energy Commodities Group, Inc.; Hess Corporation; NextEra Energy Power Marketing, LLC; and, PPL EnergyPlus, LLC.
