ERCOT Expects Sufficient Capacity for Winter, Spring

ERCOT has released a Seasonal Assessment of Resource Adequacy (SARA) for the upcoming winter season and a preliminary outlook for spring 2013.

The winter SARA forecasts peak demand of 58,138 MW and total resources of 74,249 MW

The spring preliminary outlook, covering March through May of 2013, forecasts peak demand of 58,312 MW and total resources of 73,084 MW
