Frontier Utilities Launches Renewable Plan with Reforestation Affinity

Texas retail electric provider Frontier Utilities announced the launch of a 100% renewable electricity plan which includes support for reforestation efforts at Hermann Park in Houston.
Under Frontier Utilities' Go Green Energy Savers plan, which is 100% renewable, Frontier will plant a tree for every five new customers.
In the CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric service area, Frontier's Go Green Energy Savers plan offers a 12 month fixed rate of 10.9¢/kWh (average all-in rate at 1,000 kWh).
A base charge of $9.99 will be assessed for any billing period where usage is less than 1,000 kWh.
The product includes an early termination fee of $150.
Frontier Utilities was also recently a corporate sponsor of Hermann Park Conservancy's 2012 Run in the Park 5K
