Liberty Power announced that it is now serving commercial electric customers in Ohio.
Service is offered in all territories -- AEP Ohio (Ohio Power and Columbus Southern Power rate zones), Dayton Power & Light, Duke Energy Ohio, and the FirstEnergy utilities (Cleveland Electric Illuminating, Ohio Edison, and Toledo Edison).
"The addition of Ohio to our portfolio of active markets is a tremendous growth opportunity for the company," said David Hernandez, co-founder and CEO of Liberty Power.
Liberty said that it is offering a full suite of electricity plans for small, medium and large commercial customers in Ohio, including fixed rates, index, custom-tailored block-and-index, hybrid, and renewable products.
"Initial sales efforts in the state have been well-received and we look forward to building our presence in Ohio, one relationship at a time," stated Alberto Daire, co-founder, President and Chief Operating Officer of Liberty Power.
Liberty Power said that it is now actively selling electricity in 14 states and operating in over 50 utility territories.
