Three Pennsylvania Utilities See Solid Weekly Growth in Residential Shopping

Solid weekly growth in the number of residential customers on competitive electric supply continues at PECO, PPL, and West Penn Power, according to the November 7 migration data from the Pennsylvania PUC.

From October 31 to November 6, PECO saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by nearly 2,600 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 3,400 accounts. A new, higher residential Price to Compare took effect at PECO on October 1.
From October 28 to November 3, PPL saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by 900 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 2,200 accounts.
From November 1 to November 7, West Penn Power saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 1,700 accounts, which was even with the week-ago growth.
From October 28 to November 3, Duquesne Light saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 800 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 900 accounts.
From November 1 to November 7, Penelec saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by about 700 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 1,100 accounts.
From November 1 to November 7, Met-Ed saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 500 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 320 accounts.
From November 1 to November 7, Penn Power saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by nearly 300 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 180 accounts.
