AMERIgreen Energy Offering Free Home Efficiency Analysis; Touting Renewable Plans as PECO REC Add-on Discontinued

AMERIgreen Energy is promoting its 100% wind and renewable options to residential customers at PECO in light of the previously reported cessation of the default service wind REC add-on option at PECO at the end of the year.

AMERIgreen Energy's launch of service in Pennsylvania had been first reported by Matters last year.

Customers enrolling with AMERIgreen Energy receive a Free Home Efficiency Analysis performed by Mark Group, which AMERIgreen said was a $200 Value. The analysis includes blower door diagnostic testing, health and safety inspection, infrared thermal analysis, and prioritized energy recommendations.

As listed on AMERIgreen's website, a 12-month fixed 100% renewable plan (all PA-sourced, 25.5% from Pennsylvania Tier I alternative energy sources and 74.5% from Pennsylvania Tier II alternative energy sources) for residential customers at PECO is 9.39¢/kWh.

There are no early termination fees.
