City of Chicago Selects Opt-Out Aggregation Supplier

The City of Chicago has selected Integrys Energy Services to supply its opt-out municipal electric aggregation.
Rates under the aggregation were not immediately publicized, pending final approval from the city council which is expected this Wednesday.
The aggregation will supply customers through May 2015, with a rate that must beat or match the default supply rate.
The city said that customers will save 20-25% from February 2013 to June 2013.
The aggregation provides that customers may opt out at any time without penalty.
The aggregation has been valued at $300 million in annual revenue
