New York ESCO to Undertake "Aggressive" Expansion to New States in 2013

New York ESCO SBR Energy, LLC d/b/a Silver Bear Energy, "is embarking on an aggressive expansion plan in 2013," to serve both electric and natural gas customers outside of New York.
Initially, SBR Energy has applied for an Ohio electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas.
SBR Energy, LLC began selling retail gas in New York State in March 2010. During 2011 the company started selling retail electricity in New York.
During 2011 the company served a load of 9,218 MWh of electricity and 406,071 dekatherms of natural gas, with gross revenues of $4,501,425, the company said in its Ohio application.
"In 2012 the company, despite selling off a large portion of its natural gas book, continued its electric growth with a load of 22,000 Mwhs of electricity and 117,000 dekatherms of natural gas with gross revenues of $2,500,000," the company said in its Ohio application.
