Raven Power Marketing Selects Marketer for Former Exelon Coal Plants

EDF Trading and Raven Power Marketing, a subsidiary of Raven Power Holdings LLC, have signed an Energy Management Agreement covering three Maryland coal plants recently acquired by Raven Power Holdings LLC from Exelon.
The agreement is to provide services for the Brandon Shores Energy Center, the H.A. Wagner Energy Center, and the C.P. Crane Energy Center in Maryland. These coal-fired generation facilities total over 2,600 MW.
EDF Trading will provide power marketing and scheduling services as well as assisting with fuel management and portfolio optimization.
"EDF Trading manages over 23,000 MW of generation assets in the North American energy sector. We welcome the addition of the Raven Power generation facilities and look forward to developing our relationship," said Cody Moore, Head of North American Power at EDF Trading.
Raven Power Holdings is a new portfolio company of Riverstone Holdings LLC.
