PPL Sees Return to Residential Shopping Growth

PPL reversed a week-ago decline in residential shoppers and has again recorded growth in the number of residential electric customers on competitive supply, according to the January 16 stats from the Pennsylvania PUC.

From January 6 to January 12, PPL saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by 300, reversing the week-ago decline of 126 accounts.
From January 9 to January 15, PECO saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by 1,750 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 1,900 accounts.
From January 10 to January 16, West Penn Power saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 1,000 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 500 accounts.
From January 10 to January 16, Met-Ed saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 1,100 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 867 accounts.
From January 10 to January 16, Penelec saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 918 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 625 accounts.
During the most recent week, Duquesne Light saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 779 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 816 accounts.
From January 10 to January 16, Penn Power saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by 313 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 196 accounts.
