PECO, PPL Continue to See Strong Weekly Residential Shopping Growth

PECO and PPL continue to see strong weekly growth in the number of residential electric customers on competitive supply, according to the January 30 stats from the Pennsylvania PUC.

From January 23 to January 29, PECO saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by 1,900 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 1,200 accounts.
From January 20 to January 26, PPL saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by 1,150 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 1,200 accounts.
From January 24 to January 30, West Penn Power saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 850 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 800 accounts.
From January 24 to January 30, Met-Ed saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 560 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 963 accounts.
From January 24 to January 30, Penelec saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 722 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 901 accounts.
During the most recent week, Duquesne Light saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 585 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 922 accounts.
From January 24 to January 30, Penn Power saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by 326 accounts, versus the week-ago growth of 325 accounts.
