Energy Plus to Expand Service Area to New Territories

Energy Plus Holdings LLC informed the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio that it intends to expand its service territories to include the Columbus Southern Power rate zone, and Dayton Power and Light.
Energy Plus Holdings LLC is currently licensed as an electric supplier in Ohio, and is active for residential service at Duke Energy Ohio
In its original electric license application, Energy Plus Holdings LLC had stated its intent to serve customers at the FirstEnergy utilities, Duke Energy Ohio, and the then-applicable Ohio Power territory.
In addition, Energy Plus told PUCO that it intends to expand the electric customer classes served to include residential, commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service territories. In its original application, Energy Plus had stated an intent to serve residential and commercial customers.
Separately, Energy Plus Natural Gas LLC, an Ohio-licensed gas supplier, informed PUCO of its intent to serve large commercial and industrial natural gas customers in all service areas. Energy Plus Natural Gas had stated in its original application an intent to serve residential and small C&I customers in all service areas.
