Connecticut Light & Power Sees Slowdown in Monthly Growth Rate of Retail Shopping

Connecticut Light & Power has posted migration statistics as of December 31, 2012, and the December growth is lower than the growth seen in November, ending three consecutive months of increasing growth in monthly migration.

A comparison by Matters to migration data as of November 30, 2012 may be found here (includes individual customer counts and change for each supplier).

From the end of November to the end of December, CL&P saw the number of customers on competitive supply increase by 3,200 accounts, about one-half of the November growth of 6,200 accounts. Migration growth had been 4,900 accounts during October and 3,000 accounts during September.

The number of residential customers on competitive supply at CL&P increased by 3,000 from the end of November to the end of December, versus the November growth of 5,700.
