Calpine Announces Management Additions, Promotions

Calpine Corporation has announced several management additions and promotions.
Calpine has hired Ken Robinson as Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. In this role, Mr. Robinson is responsible for maintaining oversight of Calpine's risk management framework and ensuring the risks of the company are communicated and understood throughout the organization.
Mr. Robinson joins Calpine after over five years at BP, most recently as Chief Risk Officer for BP North American Gas and Power, covering market, credit and operational risks. Mr. Robinson was also previously Vice President of Risk Management at TXU.
Calpine named Todd Thornton as Vice President of Commercial Development, a new position created to drive Calpine's greenfield and brownfield development efforts. Mr. Thornton joined Calpine in October 2000 as a Financial Analyst and has held increasingly responsible positions within the Finance department, including being named Vice President of Finance in 2007 and Treasurer in 2009.
Calpine named Stacey Peterson to replace Mr. Thornton as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. Ms. Peterson will be responsible for capital markets and financing activities, including debt compliance, and Treasury operations. Ms. Peterson previously served as Vice President of Trading in Commercial Operations. She joined Calpine in 2007 as part of the restructuring team, focused on the ERCOT region.
