Texas Public Utility Commissioner Rolando Pablos announced at today's open meeting that he had submitted his resignation from the Commission to Gov. Perry, effective close of business March 1.
Pablos' current term was scheduled to expire September 1, 2013.
With Chairman Donna Nelson and Commissioner Kenneth Anderson on different ends of the resource adequacy policy spectrum, the third seat on the Commission is seen as the swing vote for resource adequacy.
