Exclusive: Energy Plus Acquires Customers from Retail Supplier

Energy Plus Holdings LLC has entered into an agreement to acquire certain customer contracts from a retail supplier.
Specifically, Energy Plus confirmed to EnergyChoiceMatters.com that going forward it will serve approximately 20,000 customers acquired from Discount Energy Group, LLC.
The acquired customers included customers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Further details were not confirmed by the companies.
"This acquisition aligns with our business strategy to grow our retail presence in the East," NRG Energy, the parent of Energy Plus, said in a statement to Matters.
