A retail natural gas supplier offering service in 14 states is expanding to retail electricity supply
Specifically, Stand Energy Corporation applied for an Ohio retail electric supplier license to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas.
The Ohio application is Stand Energy Corporation's first to provide retail electric service in any state.
Stand Energy Corporation currently serves natural gas to over 2,000 commercial and industrial customer locations (including approximately 990 mostly mercantile choice customers) behind almost 60 utilities in 14 states.
Stand Energy Corporation has held a FERC power marketer license for nearly 20 years, but does not actively trade wholesale power.
