Direct Energy Business Wins Defense Logistics Agency Contract

Direct Energy Business announced that it has signed a two-year deal with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), a combat logistics support agency for the Department of Defense, to serve as the energy supplier for seven government facilities.

The term started January 2013.

Direct Energy Business will supply more than 1.4 million total MWhs to the following facilities: Fort Hood, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Joint Reserve Base Naval Reserves, Naval Air Station Kingsville, Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Army Reserves and Texas Air National Guard 147th Reconnaissance Wing.
