AP Gas & Electric Launches Service in New State, Announces Next Market Entry

AP Gas & Electric has announced the launch of electric service in Ohio, and confirmed plans for another market launch in 2013.
AP Gas & Electric will offer residential and commercial electricity at AEP Ohio, Duke Energy Ohio, Dayton Power & Light, and the FirstEnergy EDCs.
Rates were not immediately available.
In addition, AP Gas & Electric said that plans to expand into Illinois (Commonwealth Edison) are underway for a 2013 launch.
AP Gas & Electric has entered 26 LDCs over a 24 month period, and now offers service in Texas, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
