Stream Energy Expands to Two New Territories

Stream Energy is expanding its service footprint to include two additional territories.

Specifically, Stream Energy will now offer electricity at Delmarva Power in Maryland, and natural gas at Baltimore Gas & Electric in Maryland.

Current residential rates as listed on Stream's website are as follows:

Delmarva-Md.
6 Months Fixed:     8.68¢/kWh
Monthly Variable:   8.58¢/kWh

BGE (gas)
12 Months Fixed:    5.85¢/therm
Monthly Variable:   5.55¢/therm

The 6-month plan at Delmarva includes a $75 early termination fee, and the 12-month natural gas plan at BGE includes a $100 early termination fee.

Stream had previously entered the BGE market for electric service
