Oasis Energy Offering Affinity Program to Help Restore Historic Building

Oasis Energy is offering an affinity program under which customers can help raise funds to repair storm-damaged stained glass windows at the East Midwood Jewish Center in Brooklyn, a historic Renaissance Revival building on the National Register of Historic Places. Specifically, Oasis Energy will contribute to the restoration $25 for each electricity enrollee and $10 for each natural gas enrollee using a promo code. Oasis Energy also made a $1,000 initial contribution.


ERCOT Names New VPs for Commercial Operations, Grid Planning & Operations

ERCOT named Brad Jones as vice president of Commercial Operations, overseeing Market Operations, Settlement and Retail Operations, Market Design and Development, and Client Relations. A 25-year industry veteran, Jones was most recently vice president of Government Relations for Energy Future Holdings Corporation and has chaired ERCOT's Technical Advisory Committee. ERCOT also named Ken McIntyre as vice president of Grid Planning and Operations. McIntyre was most recently ERCOT's director of Standards and Protocol Compliance. McIntyre will succeed Kent Saathoff, who plans to continue his ERCOT service as an executive advisor.
