North American Power is preparing to expand natural gas service to Georgia and three additional states, while also expanding electric service to two new states.

Specifically, North American Power is seeking certification to sell natural gas in Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island, and electricity in Massachusetts and Maine in the coming months.

If approved, North American Power plans to begin soliciting customers in these jurisdictions beginning this summer.

Expanding natural gas service to Ohio is also planned for the summer.

North American Power recently expanded electricity service to Central Hudson Gas & Electric and natural gas service to Central Hudson Gas & Electric, NYSEG, and Rochester Gas & Electric.

North American Power has also begun rolling out fixed rate electricity offerings to new customers in nineteen utilities in Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Previously, only variable plans were available.
