New York ESCO Expanding to Pennsylvania

An affiliate of start-up New York ESCO American Power & Gas, LLC is expanding to the Pennsylvania energy market.

Specifically, American Power & Gas Of Pennsylvania, LLC, an affiliate of the company, has applied for a Pennsylvania electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas.

Though a natural gas application does not yet appear formally docketed by the Pennsylvania PUC, American Power & Gas Of Pennsylvania, LLC's electric supplier application indicates an intent to also expand to natural gas service in Pennsylvania.

In New York, American Power & Gas, LLC launched service in early 2012, and is active for electric service at the six major New York investor-owned utilities, and the nine major natural gas utilities.
