PPL EnergyPlus Seeks Supplier License to Serve Residential, C&I Customers in New State

PPL EnergyPlus, LLC has applied for an electric supplier license in a new state to serve residential and non-residential customers.
Specifically, PPL EnergyPlus, LLC applied for an Ohio electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas.
PPL EnergyPlus said in its application that it has in excess of 85,000 customers as of December 31, 2012, associated with approximately 873,000 MWh of sales in the month of December 2012.
PPL EnergyPlus is a licensed retail electric supplier serving commercial and industrial customers in New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Montana. The company also is a licensed retail electric supplier for residential and small commercial and industrial customers in Pennsylvania. The company recently obtained its license to supply to commercial and industrial customers, as well as residential customers, in Washington, D.C.
