The New Hampshire PUC approved new default service rates for residential and small commercial (Non-G1) customers, and large commercial and industrial (G1) customers, at Unitil Energy Systems, Inc. for the period beginning June 1, 2013.

For Non-G1 customers, the PUC approved a default service rate of $0.07130 per kWh for the six-month period beginning June 1, 2013. This rate includes the RPS adder.

The supply charge component of G1 customers' bills will be determined at the end of each month, based upon the ISO-NE real-time hourly locational marginal price (LMP) for the New Hampshire load zone plus an adder.

For G1 customers, the PUC did approve certain components of the default service charge. The G1 Power Supply Charge, excluding the supplier charge component, will be $0.00309 per kWh in June through November 2013. The G1 RPS adder will be $0.00396 per kWh.

UES selected NextEra Energy Power Marketing, LLC as the supplier for 100% of the six-month G1 supply requirement and Integrys Energy Services, Inc. as the supplier of the small customer (Non-G1) supply requirements (a 75% share for a five-month block and a 100% share of a one-month block).
