Retail Supplier Ethical Electric Launches Service in Several States

Retail supplier Ethical Electric has begun offering retail electric supply in several states.

The start-up has launched service in Pennsylvania at PECO, PPL, and Duquesne Light; in Maryland at Baltimore Gas & Electric, Pepco, Delmarva, and Potomac Edison; in New Jersey at Public Service Electric and Gas, Jersey Central Power & Light, and Atlantic City Electric; and in Washington D.C. at Pepco.

All of the fixed products also include an early termination fee equal to $10 per month remaining on the contract. Ethical Electric's website states that in 2013 it will be expanding to Delaware, Ohio, Illinois, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine and eventually Texas.
