Retail Supplier Duquesne Light Energy Expands to New Service Areas

Retail supplier Duquesne Light Energy, LLC announced that it has expanded its competitive electric supply offers to business customers at Penn Power and West Penn Power in Pennsylvania.

Duquesne Light Energy had previously been active in the Duquesne Light territory.

Duquesne Light Energy said that the expansion was prompted by requests from existing customers in Allegheny and Beaver counties which had sought service from Duquesne Light Energy at their other Western Pennsylvania locations.

"Since 2004, we’ve been a leading electricity supplier helping Pittsburgh area businesses minimize their operating costs through the benefits of the deregulated market," said Cliff Blashford, president of Duquesne Light Energy. "We continue to experience high retention rates of customers in our primary footprint, and that supported the need for our regional expansion in Pennsylvania."
