Viridian Offering Service in New Market, Additional Launches Coming in Next Month

Viridian Energy has begun offering residential and commercial electricity service at Western Massachusetts Electric Company.

For residential customers at WMECO, Viridian Energy is offering (¢/kWh):

6 Months Fixed, 20% Green:    6.79
6 Months Fixed, 100% Wind:    8.29
Variable, 20% Green:          5.76
Variable, 100% Wind:          7.90

A $50 early termination fee applies to the fixed products

Viridian also offers electric service in Massachusetts at Nstar and National Grid

Viridian also announced that on July 1, it anticipates launching natural gas service in Maryland, at Baltimore Gas & Electric and Washington Gas Light, in the District of Columbia, and in Virginia, at WGL and Columbia Gas.
