Energy Cooperative of America Receives Authority to Serve Residential Customers in New State

Energy Cooperative of America, Inc., formerly known as Energy Cooperative of New York, Inc., has received an amended electric supplier license from the Pennsylvania PUC to serve residential customers at PPL, PECO, Met-Ed, Penelec, and West Penn Power. Energy Cooperative of America was previously authorized to serve non-residential customers in these territories.

South Jersey Energy Receives Authority to Serve Residential Customers in New State

South Jersey Energy Company has received an amended Pennsylvania natural gas supplier license to serve residential customers at, as stated in the amended license issued by the PUC, Columbia Gas, Equitable Gas, National Fuel Gas Distribution, PECO, Peoples Natural Gas, Philadelphia Gas Works, UGI Central Penn Gas, UGI Utilities, and Valley Energy. South Jersey Energy had previously been authorized to serve non-residential customers.
